Welcome to the Mani Group website. Ramesh Mani (RM) is an experimental condensed matter physicist with a specialization in low temperature magneto-transport studies of reduced dimensional electronic systems, with supplementary experience in nanoscale device fabrication, cryogenics, scanning probe microscopy, crystal growth, microwave- and UHV- techniques. RM obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Maryland at College Park, MD. Subsequently, he worked at the Max-Planck-Institute in Stuttgart, Germany, the University of California at Santa Barbara in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA, and most recently at Harvard University. He moved to GSU in the Fall of 2006 to further study some thought provoking problems in experimental condensed matter physics.
